ACTOR: Johnny Depp. just look at the range of parts he's taken, from Scissorhands, to From Hell, to Fear & Loathing.... That's quite a range.

MOVIE-STAR: Keanu Reeves. All looks and posing, no ability to emote feelings. Bill & Ted movies, Matrix.

when i saw FEAR & LOATHING, i found it
interesting.
no necessarily the movie itself, moreso
the acting.

here is what i wonder...
could johnny depp be responsible for his
'acting' in ES??

i'm flip-flopping the answer.

i don't think that one must 'speak' in
order to be a good actor.
JD had very little lines in that movie.
mostly, it was made up of his facial expression
and body movements.
yet, one could argue that his facial expressions
were gauged (possibly enhansed) by the make up,
camera angle, and lighting effects.

what do you think?

basically, nothing will change my feeling
on that movie. that is not to say that my
perspectives wouldn't change...
i'm just saying, i'd watch that movie countless
times if but to see the end when she tells
him she love's him.
